SCHOOL VALUE OF THE WEEK: Independence
Parking:
We are constantly reviewing our risk assessment and parking in the school car park has become a concern. Whilst our one way system is in use we would like to insist that parent and carers reverse into the parking spaces. As this will enable you to have a better view of children and adults emerging from the exit onto the carpark. The safety of our school community will also be our top priority. Thank you for your swift co-operation in this matter.
Home School Agreement:
Our Home School Agreement has been sent home today with your son or daughter. All pupils, parents, teachers and teaching assistants sign the form as a joint promise that all of us will put in the time and effort required for our children to succeed. Parents are expected to support children by supervising home learning, ensuring that children attend school and wear the correct uniform. Pupils are expected to show the values at all times, try their best and complete all learning tasks set.
Please do take the time to read through the Home School Agreement with your child and return a signed copy to school by Wednesday, 30th September 2020.
Newsletter:
On Wednesday 30th September you will receive your monthly newsletter.
Non Uniform Day:
All non-uniform days will be postponed until further notice – as I am mindful that children only wear their school uniform currently two days a week.
HCL School Meals:
HCL are providing school lunches Monday – Friday (£2.50 per day), please see attached menu’s and remember to pre-order your child’s meal choice (especially the younger children). Please pay in advance at the school office or bank transfer to the school account with the reference of your child’s name DINNERS. We are currently on WEEK 2 of the menu choices.
Harvest:
Please see attached flyer. We will be collecting any non-perishable items in school leading up to the Harvest Festival. If you would like to donate any items please send them in with your child before Friday 2nd October.
