Home and School Association

The Home & School Association (HSA) is a volunteer-led organisation that brings families, teachers, and staff together to support our school. Through events, fundraising, and community engagement, we create opportunities for our children to learn, grow, and thrive.

HSA – “Together, we make it special”

As the Home School Association (HSA) at Stanborough Primary School, we are passionate about enriching school life for every child.

Through the generosity of our families and the success of fundraising initiatives, we are delighted to have been able to provide a range of exciting new activities designed especially for rainy days and indoor playtimes.

🎉 Thanks to Your Support, We’ve Added:

               •             🎲 Board Games & Chess Sets

               •             🏓 Table Tennis

               •             🔵 Giant Connect 4

               •             🎯 Corn Hole

               •             … and more fun activities for all year groups

Our aim is simple: to ensure that every child continues to experience joy, connection and engagement, whatever the weather.

These new resources encourage teamwork, creativity, strategic thinking and most importantly, laughter and friendship.

None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our school community. Every event attended, every food and drinks purchased and every volunteer hour given contributes directly to opportunities like these.

As an HSA, we are proud to work in partnership with the school to enhance the overall experience of our pupils, supporting not just academic excellence but wellbeing, play and positive social interaction.

Thank you to all our families and supporters for making this possible.

Together, we are creating lasting memories and meaningful experiences for our children.

HSA Hot Chocolate Bar

Hot chocolate - HSA in action

A Fortnightly Friday Treat ☕🍫

Every other Friday afternoon, our school community looked forward to one of the coziest highlights of the term, the HSA Hot Chocolate Bar. Organised by our dedicated Home School Association (HSA), this much loved initiative brought warmth, smiles and a sense of togetherness to the end of the school week.

From 1:30pm, the Hot Chocolate Bar opened its doors, offering pupils a delicious cup of hot chocolate topped with a variety of treats, from marshmallows and cream to sprinkles and chocolate flakes. It was a simple pleasure that felt extra special, particularly during the colder months and gave children something joyful to anticipate as the weekend approached.

Beyond the tasty drinks, the event played an important role in building community spirit. Parents and carers volunteered their time to prepare and serve, creating a welcoming atmosphere filled with friendly faces. These moments helped strengthen the connection between home and school, reflecting the HSA’s commitment to supporting pupils while fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

The Hot Chocolate Bar also contributed to HSA fundraising efforts, with proceeds going directly toward enriching school life, helping to fund resources, activities and experiences that benefited all pupils.

Most importantly, the initiative reflected the kindness and generosity within our school community. Whether it was volunteers giving their time or families supporting the event, the Hot Chocolate Bar was a reminder that small acts of care can make a big difference.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make these Friday afternoons so special.
