At Stanborough Primary and Nursery School, we are proud to serve freshly prepared vegetarian school dinners that are both nutritious and delicious. Our menus are carefully designed to provide children with balanced meals that support their growth, concentration, and overall wellbeing. By focusing on healthy, plant-based ingredients, we encourage pupils to enjoy a wide variety of foods while learning the importance of making positive choices for their health and the environment. Mealtimes are an important part of our school day, helping children to develop healthy eating habits that last a lifetime.

🍽 What’s on the Menu?
Each week, students enjoy a variety of vegetarian dishes such as:
- Veggie lasagne with side salad
- Lentil curry with brown rice
- Quorn stir-fry with noodles
- Jacket potatoes with beans and cheese
- Seasonal fruit and yoghurt, or apple crumble and hot desserts for dessert
School lunches are now provided by Lee’s Caribbean Kitchen. As of September 2023 schools meals are charged at £3.00 a meal – this includes a main meal, salad or vegetables and a pudding. School lunches are available to PRE-ORDER only, they must be ordered and paid for one week in advance – food cannot be ordered on the day.
