National Fitness Day, held on Wednesday 23rd September, is an annual event that celebrates the fun of fitness and physical activity. While highlighting the benefits that leading an active lifestyle can have on our overall health.
Our local MP, Mr Russell and our Parent Governor and Chairman for One vision marked the day by visiting our school to see how we are adjusting to returning to school as well as demonstrating tricep dips to some of our pupils – please see image below – not my finest hour!

Later on during the morning they were joined by our 5 and 6 pupils, pupils from the secondary school and personal trainer Sam who showed the pupils a few simple exercise moves they can do at home – ‘jumping jacks’, ‘squats’ and ‘star jumps’.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make National Fitness Day such a fun, successful day at our school.
