Why is drinking water so important?

Early years learnt why we need water, how much water we should drink, where we can get water from, how we can stay hydrated, and more!
We set up a ‘Drinking water challenge’ chart so we could motivate the children to drink more water throughout the day.
Classic sink or float science experiment:
What will happen to the egg in salt water? Will an egg float or sink in salty water? There were so many questions to ask and predictions to make with this easy saltwater density science activity.

Our Bible story was about ‘Bitter to better water’ from Exodus 15:22-27.
The Israelites could not live without water, so it can be said that the sweet water was their “salvation.” Jesus is our salvation.
He brings us joy, just as the water brought joy in the desert. We worship and praise Him for bringing us the joy of being saved.

“With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation” (Isaiah 12:3). That promise is as true for us today as it was for the Israelites. Praise God with joyful praise!
