As part of our The UK Parliament sent us a Loan Box to help us develop an understanding of parliament, develop classroom debates, introduce the concept of law making and support our understanding of the democratic process through active learning.
After learning about the contents of the box (The box contains: House of Commons and House of Lords backdrops; Speaker’s robe; A Bill; Despatch Box; Mace; Division bell) we wrote our own questions to be debated and voted upon by the lords and baronesses in the House of Lords.
