Dive Deep Into Curriculum (New) :

This will be a new future for the weekly Headteacher Blog and our monthly roundup newsletters. We want to share the success and the progress we are making to develop the subjects and experiences we provide our children. Yesterday, all subject leaders attended a Deep Dive Training session at the Secondary School alongside staff from some of the other Adventist schools to share best practices and identify critical areas to develop further this term to drive school improvement.

Next week our dive deep into the curriculum will focus on reading – so keep your eyes peeled!

Attendance W/C 28th March 2022:

Each school in the local authority has an attendance target that is set for them. This year our school attendance target is 97%. Of course, we do not expect children who are unwell to come into school. They need to stay at home and rest to get well. They also need to stay at home, so they don’t pass on illness to others.

A sponsorship envelope was sent home in book bags before the Easter holidays to collect money from family and friends. Please ensure sponsorship forms and money are handed in to the school office before Friday, 29th April 2022 and If you are unable to collect sponsors, the Peace Hospice Care would appreciated a £2.00 donation to cover the cost of the Bunny ears for the event.
