This year the theme of British Science Week is ‘Growth’.We covered the exciting science theme about the growth of people, plants and animals. With all of our lessons and activities we encouraged the children to think about the growth of buildings and having a ‘growth mindset’.
We used every single opportunity to observe, explore, investigate and discuss the exciting theme of Growth and discover how science is part of our everyday lives.
Early years were fascinated as they watched the flower petals changing colour and learn about how plants drink water!
The children built bridges for the Billy Goats Gruff. Once they have made the bridges they tested them to see if they were strong enough to
support the goats to cross the river safely!
