Autumn 2 Week 6

Dear Parent and Carers,

Last week turned out to be an extraordinarily busy school week. Our ‘Make a Difference’ focus allowed children to exchange gifts as well as kind and uplifting words with one another and from class to class. Some of these kind gestures evoked all kinds of warm feelings. We hope that the children extended their thoughtfulness and kindness at home too! Last week we also commenced our focus on inspiring black personalities with a visit from Chey Hall, Headteacher of Ultra Education.

Another highlight of the week was our focus on Mental Health Week. This was marked on Wednesday to coincide with our well-being day – many children made the effort to mark the occasion by wearing something yellow. Mental Health and wellbeing has become a key aspect running through all we do as we want to continue to cater for the whole person.

Harvest Celebrations:

Thank you for the donations we have received so far. Can we please ask for any further donations to be handed in to the school office by Friday 15th October. We can only accept non-perishable, tinned and dried goods.

As our Harvest Festival falls on a ‘Wellness Wednesday’ we would like the children to come to school in plain non-uniform clothing (No logo’s on T-shirts/jumpers etc..) preferably in Autumn Colours, if possible.
