Autumn 1 Week 7

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been wonderful to return to school and see the children again, following my period of absence. I spent some time last week conducting learning walks and the children continue to amaze me with their enthusiasm towards their learning. A vital area of my learning walk was to find out through the pupil’s voice how the children felt about their learning. My favourite quotes are ‘I love learning something new every day’ – Year 1. ‘Yesterday I didn’t get it, but today I do because I tried a new method’ Year 6. The staff are looking forward to sharing your children’s learning journey with you at our Parent Consultation meeting on Wednesday 3rd November and 4th Thursday, November 2021.

This week, albeit short, will be very busy this will include the children participating in an Indian and African dance workshop tomorrow. We will also be sharing our Harvest assembly with you by the end of the week.
