In Year 2 and 3 we have been researching and carrying out an investigation to find out which are the best conditions to grow.
We created a small greenhouse from a recycled bottle and have grown cress seeds. In addition, we planted cress seeds into soil and put the pot with the seeds in the fridge.
We found that the cress seeds grew quickly in the pot with the greenhouse as the cress seeds had warmth and sunlight. We found out that the cress seeds in the fridge did not germinate because it was cold and there was no sunlight.
We are also finding out that plants are adapted to grow in different conditions in the world.
