Today, we had the opportunity to meet with Vashti Hardy, the author of our class book- Brightstorm. We prepared questions and had a discussion about her ideas, inspiration and how she has structured her story. She gave us ideas on how to write fantasy stories effectively, even if we don’t feel like we are good at writing. Being creative and using our imagination is the most important element of writing a story. She taught us how to create our own fantasy maps, how to include obstacles to ensure our story has depth and full of adventure!
