In science we are learning about living things and their habitats. We used a bug magnifier to observe mini beasts that we found in the school grounds. We searched under logs, in the vegetable patch, amongst the plants and by the trees. We saw worms, snails, bees, lots of woodlice and a spider. We discussed why the creatures liked to live where we found them and recorded data to use back in the classroom. All creatures were released quickly back into their natural habitat.
