Our Early years are exploring our new role play area and learning actively through play. Constructive play helps them to make sense of the world, develop problem solving, and social skills and improve their fine motor development.

Important mathematical concepts are introduced in construction play. The children begin to use vocabulary linked to spatial reasoning such as below, on top, next to, besides, above.

Hard hats, reflective jackets and tools encourage role play within the construction area and allow children to fully immerse themselves in imaginary play.
