The Human Digestive System
Our Science topic this half-term is Animals including Humans.
As such, we have been finding out about the different parts of the human digestive system and their functions. To begin with, the children drew and labelled where they thought the different organs were in the digestive system.
Through a very messy (but memorable!) hands-on activity, they then learnt about what happens to their food once it starts it’s journey, starting in their mouths! Can you describe the process of our digestive system using scientific vocabulary?
