Before the Easter holidays, we took part in a writing competition called ‘The incredible diary of…’ Our 100-word diary entries were selected to be published in a book! We are so proud of our efforts!
We have started a new Talk for Writing Unit this half-term where we will be learning to write journey stories. We always begin a new unit by doing a cold write. Then, we are introduced to a model text which will inspire our writing and begin to learn it by using actions and drawing a story map.
In science, we created models of the digestive system and explored how the digestive system works.
In Maths, we have been learning about perimeter. We can calculate the perimeter of a rectilinear shape and find missing lengths.
