On Thursday 24th October 2019, we had a Roman day at school and dressed up as Romans. The children looked spectacular as they paraded their outfits in a Roman styled fashion show.
They tried (some more reluctant than others!) some Roman-style food. This included feta cheese, olives, pitta bread, grapes and figs.
Inspired by Roman pottery, children made their own edible pottery. Thanks to Isaac and his mum who came up with the idea in the first place!
They also got to design their own mosaics – very creative!
