At the beginning of the school year, as we are learning about ourselves and others, we like to include an all about me theme.We are teaching Early years how to think about others, notice their thoughts and feelings, and how to communicate with them. We aslo learn the song, ‘I am special because God made me’. During our morning worship, we teach the children that God created every one of them in his own image and each of them has tremendous value, regardless of their appearance or abilities.
We decided to make ‘little me cookies’. The children mixed the ingredients, rolled the dough and used a cookie cutter. They thoroughly enjoyed the yummy result!
