Dear Parents and Carers,
This week our value is gratitude. I am so thankful that we have made it to the end of term! There has been no learning lost due to the issues we have experienced at the Primary School and no further bubble closures since December 2020! I want to thank the staff and pupils for their continued display of the school values, particularly their resilience, co-operation, and spirit of excellence. It has been a challenging year, but we are on the final homestretch. It will be another busy week of learning and activities across the school, so please keep an eye on Class Dojo and our school website.
I would also like to thank our parents and carers for their continued support, understanding and prayers throughout the year.
Year 5 and 6 Residential:
The children were an absolute credit to the school, and their families, supporting one another like a team should and for challenging themselves to try activities they had never done before, particularly during the Sunday session. Spending time with the pupils and utilising the school grounds was a tremendous privilege and an opportunity we missed greatly last year. I want to thank all staff and parents involved with the residential – I couldn’t have done it without you. May God continue to bless you and your families greatly.

Eat Them To Defeat Them:
This week it’s pea week – there is no change to the meals but the cooks are being creative!
Keeping Our Community Safe:
Please remember, though, that the rules for school and self-isolation have not changed. If your child, or anyone else in your household, experiences any of the three main symptoms of:
- persistent cough,
- temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius or higher
- loss of taste or smell you should begin self-isolation and book a Covid test.
SHOULD YOUR CHILD DEVELOP ANY OF THE SYMPTOMS ABOVE, PLEASE INFORM THE SCHOOL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (VIA EMAIL) TO ENSURE THAT THE SCHOOL CAN TAKE THE NECCESARY PRECAUTIONS IN-LINE WITH OUR RISK ASSESSMENT AND GUIDANCE FROM OUR LOCAL HEALTH PROTECTION TEAM. PLEASE SEND THE EMAIL TO EITHER head@stanboroughprimary.org.uk or info@stanboroughprimary.org.uk
