Keeping Our Community Safe:

It has been a great relief to many to see the rules around Covid gradually relaxing. Please remember, though, that the rules for school and self-isolation have not changed. If your child, or anyone else in your household, experiences any of the three main symptoms of:

–          persistent cough,

–          temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius or higher

–          loss of taste or smell you should begin self-isolation and book a Covid test.

SHOULD YOUR CHILD DEVELOP ANY OF THE SYMPTOMS ABOVE, PLEASE INFORM THE SCHOOL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (VIA EMAIL) TO ENSURE THAT THE SCHOOL CAN TAKE THE NECCESARY PRECAUTIONS IN-LINE WITH OUR RISK ASSESSMENT AND GUIDANCE FROM OUR LOCAL HEALTH PROTECTION TEAM. PLEASE SEND THE EMAIL TO EITHER head@stanboroughprimary.org.uk or info@stanboroughprimary.org.uk

Attendance W/C 24th May 2021

Each school in the local authority has an attendance target which is set for them. Unfortunately, we didn’t meet attendance expectations for last week (94.54%). Not to worry, we still have the rest of this term to end on a better note so let’s all work together and have a better week.

Year GroupAttendance %
Nursery76.32
Reception73.33
Year 1100%
Year 2100%
Year 381.43
Year 4100%
Year 595.63
Year 692.31

Please contact the office if your child is unable to attend school by 10:00am every day in line with our school policy. We understand that the building is cold, but we have to keep the windows open for ventilation due to Government regulations, so please ensure that your children arrive at school with lots of layers to keep warm.

Admissions:

Please do let friends and family in the community (or further afield) know that we are still accepting pupils this year and from September onwards. Please click on admission to register your interest.

Bikeability:

For all the junior pupils who have signed up for the Bikeability course (and we have confirmed their place), please ensure your child comes to school on Wednesday, 2nd Junewith their bikes, suitable clothing/footwear and a cycle helmet.

Finally, let us take comfort in the following verse – “Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you , surely I will help you”.

Love & Blessings,

Mrs T Madden
