After so many training sessions with Coach Ross, the whole school took part in our cross country running race. It was so challenging but exciting! The distance-running groups focused on developing a good running form and building up an athlete’s endurance level which required resilience and perseverance!
”Just keep on going no matter what! Never stop and keep a good pace!” Christopher, Year 6 (1st place)
”Be determined to win and trust God to help you!” Shemi, Year 5 (2nd place)
”Whilst I was running I was thinking I am going to die and then I remembered the disappointment on people’s faces if I sit on the ground so I kept on running!” Noah, Year 6 (3rd place)
”When I was racing against others, I was thinking it was not over yet, I can still win!” Aaron, Year 2 (1st place)
”I wanted to win but I became second. I never gave up and I encourage everyone else to never give up! ” Tiago Year 4 (2nd place)
” I just kept going and tried not to stop! I tried to beat my time. Your only competition is yourself. Don’t worry about anyone else and be proud of what you achieved!” Zachary, Year 4 (3rd place)
