Students engaged with democracy, during UK Parliament Week. Activities involved the development of in-school political parties, political debates, writing manifestos, which culminated in students voting for candidates in a mock election.
They also had the opportunity to meet Mr Peter Taylor, the elected Mayor of Watford, who visited our school on Wednesday. Students learnt a great deal about his role as the Mayor and about his upcoming projects. There was also a chance for students to ask questions.
