We have encouraged our early years to explore the fruits of the Spirit and reflect on the important role they have in their lives. We have included a variety of activities to help our children learn and grow spiritually.
How do we explain the fruit of the Spirit to our early years?
The way we decided to explain the fruit of the Spirit was by using an analogy. Imagine that the fruit of the Spirit is like a basket of delicious fruits. Each fruit represents a different kind of good feeling or characteristic that comes from God. The more you eat of these delicious fruits, the more you will feel good inside!
”But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23
