STEM exlporation This week the Early years have been exploring the book ‘Owl Babies’.
We focused particularly on owl’s eyesight.
Early years learnt that owls have unique eyes and they have something called binocular vision.
Their eyesight helps them to see well from side to side and during the night.
We constructed one owl eyesight viewer that the whole class could use.
The children had many opportunities to explore the story by making lots of interactive crafts.
