In Reception, we have started reading and exploring the book, ‘Owl Babies’ by Martin Waddell.
Today, we listened to the story and talked about the characters in the story.
We then created owl masks and made collages of owls using different materials.
We made cards for our mummies (and daddies!) to show that we love them.
We have a story map to help us learn the story.
We were able to sequence events in the story. Some of us used pictures to create a story map and some of us drew our own story maps. As an extra challenge, we even had a go at writing a sentence independently.
