Today we finally saw the final stage of the butterfly complete metamorphosis. We observed three out of the four stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. Unfortunately two of our butterflies did not survive but we are excited that the rest have become beautiful butterflies! We created special sugar nectar for them as this is their primary source of food.
