We are starting our anniversary preparations, and beginning to learn about how homes have changed over the past 100 years.
Year 3 have come home with a home learning project to ask family memebers about what they remember being in their houses when they were children and what has changed. One example of this is that Miss Burns has brought in to school an old puppet theatre which the children are guessing the age of. Any guesses from parents welcome too!
After some extensive research, we found out to our surprise that things like kettles, toasters and even dishwashers were invented more than 100 years ago, but maybe not the same ones we have today!
