What is monochrome art?
Mono means one and chrome means colour, so monochrome art is art that is created using just one colour.The children had a look at some monochrome works and talked about how the artist had used light, shade and texture.Then they explored their own monochrome art in a number of different ways.
Some created an abstract picture, trying out a combination of different black paint, pencils and pastels.The end results were fabulous!
