Last week in Year 1 we had a very exciting Geography lesson. This is because we had a very special surprise visitor from Africa. Mrs Kalu came to our classroom dressed in a beautiful colourful African dress, carrying lots of interesting items from Africa.
We had the opportunity to wear different hats, jewellery, bags and pieces of colourful cloth from the second largest continent in the world – Africa.
We asked her lots of questions about the weather, the animals, the mountains and deserts, the shops and houses there. Mrs Kalu confidently answered all of them.
It was an amazing experience !
