We have begun an exciting new Talk for Writing unit in English – Greek Myths with a warning plot. For our creative ‘hook’ we had the opportunity to recreate a piece of art inspired by Henry Matisse’s ‘Icarus’ painting. Check out some of our fantastic work!
We also discussed pivotal moments in the story and re-enacted them. The children immersed themselves fully as they got creative (and daring!) with props, dialogue and acting!
