Maths Day
Wednesday 1st February will be our Maths Day.

Mastermind Competition
Our Mastermind Competition is scheduled for Wednesday 8th February. This is an in-house event which will take place during the school day. Our Junior List is closed, but there are some places remaining on the Infant List. Please note that contestants must register (i.e. return their forms to the office) no later than Friday 3rd February 2012.

End of Half-Term
School ends on Friday 10th February 2012, at 12 NOON, for the Spring half-term. Please be prompt in collecting the children. School resumes after the half-term on Tuesday 21st February at 8.45am.

HSA - Jumble Sale
The HSA will be organising a Jumble Sale at the school on Sunday 26th February from 12-2pm. Sarah Haque is asking for donations of items/unwanted gifts to be brought in to the school office.

Ball-a-thon
This is a fitness event organised by Mr Steyn and it will take place on Tuesday 28th February. The children will participate in a variety of ball skills activities, in the form of a circuit, on the day.

Marie Curie Fund Raising
On Wednesday 29th February, the children may wear yellow and/or green to school for 50p. Money raised will go to the Marie Curie Cancer Research. The Infant children will also be growing daffodils as part of this event.

World Book Day – Thursday 1st March 2012
The children are invited to come dressed as book characters. We have various activities planned for the day. I would encourage the children to learn one or two facts about their character, that they can share in our ‘Who Am I’ assembly.

School Board
Governors are asked to note that the next Primary School Board is scheduled for Monday 5th March 2012 (not Monday 12th March.)
